Title: Old mobile phones
Post by: STMO123 on 13 June 2012, 21:16:48
I've just been rooting through my drawers  :-[

I found an old Motorola flip phone from about seven years ago. Then a Nokia slider from about five years ago and two Sony Ericsson sliders from two years ago.

It made me feel a bit strange. It was like a history of me in the form of technology.

I've put them all on charge and I'm gonna have a play with them tomorrow.

Sad? Probably.

Sure I found an old NEC P100. Not even listed on the usual "sell your mobile" type sites, so sent it to landfill ::)

Mind you, it was eTACS, not GSM...

Always wanted one them, I was stuck with the NEC 9A Brick, the Grey TACS thing, about 15 mins talk time and about a day to charge the feller back up again.

Are you serious.  :-\

If you fit a Nokia CK-7W car kit (they are very cheap), I've got a charging cradle for the 6230i. Works very well with voice dial, unlike the iPhone, which occasionally dials random people through Bluetooth connection.  ;D

Need to set up OOF courier service.  :y

Right, I've found both mobiles. Just need to work out method of getting them to you.  :-\ Wouldn't be cost effective to post would they. Be easier to work out a chain delivery .  :y ;D We need to formulate a plan.  :)
