Shame its poverty spec and missing 12 valves, but still nice. :y

Poverty spec?
It has all the toys inc dual zone climate control - only missing the leather but TBH thats a bonus. The leather seats in those are not very supportive and you end up sliding off the sides when cornering.
The cloth was a no cost option and IMHO the better option.

The 12v engine has been shown time and again to be the more reliable of the 3.0 engines and have enough poke to keep most people happy.

I'd love to give that a home!

If that was just a few years older I'd go for it and salt it away until it turned 30 whereupon it would cost a paltry fifty euro a year to tax over here .
That's a bloody nice car.

I reckon that might get up around £6-7000.. especially if a couple of enthusiasts start counter-bidding   :(

It's the poverty spec because it wasn't the CD model  ;), I used to have exactly the same model and same age of car. ALL Senators had dual climate, but CD had air con, this car doesn't.  ;) ;)

I stand corrected - I thought I saw the aircon switches but was mistaken.

Having said that it's one less thing to go wrong so I'd still jump at it!

Check out the other car they have listed...

A 1988 Rover 213S with only 14 miles on it!!  :o Amazing story behind it to.

My first car was a 1985 213 Vanden Plas, and seeing this has brought back some very happy memories!!  ;D

A few years back one of our local garages had a Morris Minor 1000 for sale with under 200 miles guaranteed from new!  There's still a few about  ;)

So that gives an indication as to what the reserve price might be..... :)

Not having air con just means you don't need to take the bits out and dump them, because it'll be an R12 system and I'd be extremely surprised if it still works. Only way to make it work would be to convert to R134.
