Title: Bad day
Post by: STMO123 on 22 June 2012, 12:51:25
Because my little doggie is so bored with having to stay in, I have been feeling sorry for her. So I've been playing with her and picking bits of the chicken I cooked earlier and giving them to her.

Bad move! She is farting past herself and she bleedin honks. If I open the door to let the pong out she makes a bolt for freedom.

Woe is me  :(

Opening a window doesn't touch it. Cork up the arse is my next move.

I put a stair gate up across the kitchen door. That way we can have the back door open and the dog cant get out.

You can get taller gates for bigger dogs too, although mine is a Chinese Crested so on the smaller side.

I had gates everywhere when she was a puppy. But they were a pain and I took them off when she got a bit older. May have to dig one out again.

Chicken.......you rich sod. We fed our last dog tins of "Valuemutt" at 12p for a large can. Don't you know we are going through a double-dip recession?.... ;)

You may find a couple of pieces of cotton wool up your nostrils more effective, but if you find the cork more enjoyable (and distracts you from the smell ?) who are we to judge. :y

Mix some curry powder in with the chicken next time steve, the smell will be just as bad but your nose will be more attuned to the aroma......oh & the gitalong will learn very quickly there are consequences to every good meal! ;D ;)

I have a boxer, and he farts big time every day in life. If there's a stinkier breed of dog out there I've never came across it

My next door neighbour's hound. It got so bad, it is now on a special wheat free diet, where local pet shop said a wheat intolerance is a common cause of excessive wind.

I must admit it has made a massive improvement. The air in their house is now breathable.  ::) :o :o
