That RD500 is worth a tidy sum these days. :y
That Honda is of interest to me.A friend of mine has had an almost identical bike for about 20 years (dismantled in his spare room for the last 10) and has never been quite sure what it is. :y

Who did I tell you would be most interested in your hobby Rob ;)

The RD500 is a bike I always dreamed about but could not afford. So I had its baby brothers RD 350's....
Is this young man in the picture you then Rob?

You have not mentioned though what your proper hobby was though have you! Come on my Irish friend will be most interested :y

My mate who has the Honda also has an old 350lc which has been stripped.lightened, very highly tuned, he uses it for classic racing. He also has an original 1970,s racing TZ350 Yamaha, which is a lovely old thing, worth a small fortune, and surprisingly great fun to ride. :)

Don't have any digital ones of zx9/6 and others.  :-\

But I'd swap the lot for that RD500. A legend on wheels.  :y

Nice bikes!Last bike I had was a'54 Ariel VB model 600 side valve single[never seen one before  or since!]bought as a project for 8 quid, cost me a quid to have it re-bored.Magneto ignition made life interesting when approaching bends on poorly lit roads at night!
