Title: 1993 pajero 2.5 td auto problem

Its my brother in laws 4x4 and been rather neglected! It's had a leaking water pump for quite some time,replaced pump today and also thermostat.problem now is top rad hose is hot,bottom hose is cold as is the rad itself also no heat through heater either,another odd thing is if the rad cap is on it misfires,take cap off misfire disappears! Possible head gasket? Any pointers greatly received,many thanks...Wayne

 hi mate
it has got a porus head i had one with the same problem the head was leaking in no1 &no 4 combustion chambers
