Hi all, I'm looking to give my newly bought Elite 17" alloys a quick refurbishment, The weels look very similar to star silver to me ?, I've seen some Wurth Silver alloy paint http://www.performancemotorcare.com/acatalog/Wurth_German_Alloy_Silver_Wheel_Lacquer___400ml__1149.html (http://www.performancemotorcare.com/acatalog/Wurth_German_Alloy_Silver_Wheel_Lacquer___400ml__1149.html) Is that the sort of paint i'd need :-\ and other stuff and tips would be appreciated :) :y

Wurth is the best. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. Some have used VX Star Silver with a quality clear lacquer

A filer primer is useful for helping disguiese little dings, then wurth silver as RobG said, then a few coats of good quality lacquer.
Worked well for me,twice. :y

Or a filler primer does the job ::)

I can type (sort of) and I can spell, but I cant do both at the same time. :P ;D

some recommendations,
sand the scratches and flat them (220-400) , sand the paint with some 800 or 1200 and use filler primer first.. let it dry completely (time depends on primer not less than a day) and use 1200 on primer after drying..
