Title: Cheapo Opel tech 2

Is this the home of the software that comes with the Cheapo Opel Tech 2 ???

If so appears to be a later verson ???

Not able to try it a I don't have one.

Looks like it is the version thats sold for Ł500. Maybe someone with cheapo lead can confirm?

No, thats a different one and at 750 euros not cheap!

The download link is only an upgrade so not worth downloading unless you already have one and orig software

The download worked and installed for me, didn't have original installed. Seems to run, though says can't find interface when I go to diagnose something (coz I ain't got an interface)

Had another go....worked this time for sum reason....

However it doesnt work with the cheapo tech2 interface, well not mine anyway......just says carnt find interface......even tho i set it to use com1 and interface plugged into diag socket.

Checked the hungarian software and that worked, got.....

Set interface to COM1 (or whatever) click Apply, then Back, then back in to Settings, then Test.

What happens then?

First off it was saying carnt check usb.....

Then after i had set it to com1 done apply etc....then done test, it just said it couldnt find interface......so as the usb whinge had gone away....i guess i had set it correctly but it still wouldnt play ball

Proper com port.......dell laptop plugged into port replicator gives me a com port.
