You must all know by now that I'm a bit of "muppet" on the compuer side of things. But need a bit of help , it is probably an obvious fault but here goes:
Just changed to a new PC this one is Windows vista, gradually getting used to it but I have a problem that occurs only on our OOF site.
all text seems much smaller than on on the old XP computer.Seems more like an 8 font than a 12.
Have already set default text to largerof the two sizes and everything else seems OK , it's only OOF thats causing a problem, I'm really struggling to see it.
Any help greatly appriciated, Cheers, ?Big Al :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :y

Sounds wierd that bud, I would of said try the CTRL & + keys which will resize Internet Explorer text but that will change all web pages! u could try it temporary. I'm sure someone on here will have a better idea though.

I use both XP and Vista, and both IE6 and IE7 with their default settings on OOF, and cannot see any significant differences. IE can be troublesome with caching stylesheets (don't worry about what these are if you dont know), but a CNTRL F5 normally reloads these from server, so worth trying that as well.

Hi. Have you tried changing the screen resolution?
Lower numbers will mean a more magnified screen.

do you not change your dpi settings to 120 instead of 96??
