Title: 2.6 Cambelt Kits
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 03 July 2012, 18:27:37
Hi Guys

I'm trying to ascertain the difference between the early 2.6 (Eg Y reg) and late 2.6 (Eg 52 reg) cambelt kits.

The earlier 2.6 kit is 9201887
The later 2.6 kit is 93172354

I am guessing the earlier one has an adjustable lower idler, and the later one a fixed idler, so not worried about lower idler.

What I want to know is - are the back plates (for the tensioner and upper idler) the same? Are they stamped with the same markings?

Cheers,
James
