Title: Damaged nut remover .

Anyone used these nut remover sockets , never seen them before  :-\

Not cheap at £68 for this set ..

Snap-on do similar for probably more money,they are however very good indeed :y

Arh right so its not something new , guess they been around for a while . Not up to date on these helpful little additions to tool boxes  :y

Also good for removing the locking wheel nuts when the key goes missing...... like mine did   ::)

Irwin do a set which I am sure would be cheaper than those.

used the on removing a few sump bolts on the puma's great bit of kit  :y

The Irwin ones are the same as Snap On, just a different name on them & about half the price.

The Irwin versions are in the current Machine Mart catalogue.  :y

There is a base set at £23.98 ( 5 extractors ) and an add on set at £22.79 (additional 5 extractors.).

I use the Irwin ones, about £25, plus another £20 for the "in between" sizes.

I  use to sell tools and garage equipment   and yes these lads are quite right,,,,they have been around for a long time and irwin are a great make and i rarely had any returns on them at all.....i think that if snap on sell tools as snap on then thats what they are....however if snap on buy this kind of stuff in from other suppliers then they re lable then as blue point and still charge the earth for them   :y
