Title: Mytyres....close but no cigar
Post by: Jimbob on 06 July 2012, 14:47:55
Ordered 4 tyres from mytyres this week...

they were delivered to my fitting station an hour ago.

rang up to arrange fitting, and 225 40 18's had been delivered instead of the 235 45 17's I ordered.

Bugger.

Ahh well, least I had her car re-mot'd with one of my wheels on, so no mad rush.

Spoke to mytyres who were very quick to resolve the issue and have redispatched the right tyres.  Still a bit of a pain though.

Similar to what I paid....£440 including fitting and balance. :y.....But my new tyres are significantly wider than the old rubber and sit VERY VERY close to the shock.

Flog the incorrect tyres on Ebay. It's their mistake. ::) ::) :)

If they were in my possession....
they are at a local garage waiting for a courier

In that case the least they can do is send you a hamper for the inconvenience. :)

Complete with two bottles of Bolly.... ;D ;D ;)
