Hi,
Since getting my Omega just before Christmas, I seem to be a lot poorer!!
Just began to wonder how much I had spent on it, so totted up all the receipts.
I could hardly believe it, £1550 as near as dammit.
Apart from welding new door hinge on, and geometry and four new tyres, all done myself.
Does include all new cambelt (inc fitting kit) and water pump gubbins, camshaft gaskets, coil pack, battery, several oil changes etc and gearbox oil etc.
Soon mounts up though.
I'm sure someone will top this and make me feel better!!

bloody hell pete you have been a busy boy ;D

I'm too scared to work it out fully!
Having fixed the power steering (twice) including a recon pump, rocker cover gaskets etc, aux belt (twice) and crank pulley (once), rebuilt the front end (after an RTA), a couple of front tyres, lots of rear tyres, and now a set of 18s, I've spent more than I'd care to count up lol
I'm sure I've missed a few things off that list but I don't want to think about it anymore :o
-
for mine add another 20£ for today ;D
By the way also in city I managed to get 28 mpg with grandma driving..
