Title: Vauxhall zafira help?

My mates 08 zafira 1.9 diesel has a problem, the fault light on the dash is on, he has tried the pedal trick he gets a code ECN 245258.
 Can anyone tell me what this is, and a rough idea of how much it's gonna cost him to fix?

A quick Google tells me it is the EGR valve needing cleaning  :y
