pls can anybody tell how to access air con clutch for Omega 2.5 V6 and what it looks like. And what's the function?

The clutch is part & parcel of the compressor (bottom right hand side - as you look under the bonnet) It drives the actual compressor inside when asked to do so by the air conditioning system.
If you ask someone to turn the a/c on & off (ie ECO on & off) as you watch the compressor you should see the triangular bit behind the pulley start & stop turning.

When A/C is switched on it electrically engages (or disengages ?)the clutch which changes the front pulley from freewheeling with the other pulleys driven by the aux. belt to driving the A/C compressor.
Not sure if the clutch is accessible by us mortals or if special equipment may be needed.
Often easier to source a known good compressor. ;)
