Had a quick look at these today to see if there was anything obvious which was preventing them from operating. Came across a 'y' type connector, though not actually that shape, which seems to take a feed from the washer bottle and split it to each jet. Took it off and pushed some water down the relevant hoses, and was relieved to see it coming out from the headlamp washers on both sides. Went back to the connector but could not feed water through it in any direction. I am presuming there is probably a non return type valve inside, and am wondering if it has closed totally? Don't want to replace it if this is normal though, and would need to check further.
Thought I'd start with the simple thing first and any advice woud be appreciated. :y

Does the pump run? Your lights need to be on before it runs. What about it's fuse? It's the one right at the front of the triangular fuse/relay box by the battery under the bonnet and the fuse holder is part of the relay (a green one) :y

Is there a separate pump for these washers? Windscreen washers working ok.
Tried different fuse on the relay and still no change.
I guess I could run power across the pump from a booster pack to test it? If its separate that is :-\

Bearing in mind the pump needs a feed re the headlights, I guess it must be separate, rendering my question a bit silly :-[

Cheers Rob :y

As per RobG's facelift washer bottle pic (PFL similar), larger of 2 pumps for headlight washers.
Not using screenwash causes the pump to clog...

Not really, previous Vauxhall/Opels with headlight wipers used the same washer pump. ;) ;)
