i got a polybush kit for mine last year, comes with the antiroll bar bushes and two front bushes for the bottom arms too. the bottom arm bushes are more of a pain cos i had to burn out the old ones first. but yes the anti roll bar ones can be done without dropping the cradle, slightly fiddly but yes it can be done. wether its worth it I dont know yet, only time will tell

ive not done them on my omega but ive done them on my calibra, and they tightend the feel of the car up, they feel like brand new rubber bushes but still feel like brand new rubber bushes 3 years later after some track abuse, if youve got to replace your bushes and you can afford the extra cost of poly then i would recommend it you wont need to replace them again :)

New VX ones would make a noticable difference compared to 100+k/8+ yearold ones. whether the polys are worth the extra £27 depends on how often you actually change the stock ones I guess :-\

Easy enough to change/access whilst all the intake gubbins is out for the cambelt change :y

Well not that I know a great deal about it all, but essentially it was only two bolts each side, remove cover, bush out bush in replace cover and bolt up. Just bloody awkward for access for what should just be an easy straightforward job. Although as usual there was probably an easier way that I didn't do!

That aside, I can't see the benefit of poly bushing the arb, I reckOn most omegas will have their original ones, and if they need replacing, normal ones will probably outlast the car. I only fitted them as I got them cheap. I cant really see any advantage over standard that polybushing the w/b bush over standard would give.

And it bloody squeaks now!

There is one legitimate use for copper slip. Usually comes with a sachet of goo.

So the poly bushes ain't harder than the original ones?
My car get very twitchy and scary to drive at higher speeds, so i'm fitting full coilover set and front strut brace from wiechers.
Was thinking of doing the anti rollbar bushes in poly aswell, but are the original ones just as good?

Change the wishbone bushes and get it set up at Wheels in motion (or similar) first :y Alot cheaper for better results :y

if your going to the expense of coilovers and strut brace then in my opinion fitting polys is a no brainer!
