Have seen very few of these , but like whats under the hood :P anyone had a drive in one ?

...I recently repaired a rattly inlet on a 2.0 v6 Rover 75, quite comfortable, considering.

One of my colleagues at work has one of these, Ford Mustang engine sounds great!!

I think it would rip its own wheels off if it was front wheel drive :-\ ;D

The stock 4.6 in a Mustang(and it's the same engine in a Rover/MG) sounds great, but does make you wonder what happened to the alleged 260hp. It's disappointing in the Mustang, although in a 75 as a cruiser it might be slightly different matter.

Yes, performance wise they are a bit disappointing but the noise is nice and they must be a better bet than the FWD variant.

Iirc, they do some rather nice add on's to take it upto 385 brake :D

You just cant beat that sound can you :) Its pleasing to know like driving the elite that you have plenty of power on tap but the v8 is just a different league with handling to match :y
