Cars deadlocked LD, really dont want to do a window, because Im not convinced I can get to the Manual pull with a LPG tank in the way?, also not sure if the release button works with the car locked up?

How big's the tank? As for deadlocked... There is a solution but I don't know it and it's not something that should be shared (publicly) online ;) If you get really stuck I have a set of Jigglers and might be able to get down to you during the week :-\

Thanks LD, on plan E at the moment, thinking out load, I can get the Bonnet up, assuming the Boot Release works with the Car locked, Im guessing the switch wires, either as a pair (or one goes to ground or 12v) goes to the ECU, so can someone tell me the wire colours or ECU pin out maybe? or PM me the info.

Thanks

How big's the tank?

Not sure, guessing 80 or 90, but around £62 to fill from empty.

Ahh... That makes it too big to get past. The 80L tanks we recommend do (we think) leave enough room to get the release (just) :-\

With access to the engine bay, even if you just fire the central locking it's a start ;)

ECU is in cabin, so no help ;)

If deadlocked, I'm guessing window :(

I suspect though, there are loads of cars out there that you can easily do the same thing with. Both SWMBO's Smart & my 'new' R Class will both open their boot/tailgate without unlocking the rest of the car, you then put the key down while you load/unload your car, shut the boot and then ask on a forum how to get into the car when your only key is locked inside!  ::) ;D ;D ;D

I rest my case.

Makes the superior PFL design so much better, if less profitable for the dealers

Pfl stops nobody walking up to the unlocked boot and helping themselves while your in it at the lights. Which can't happen in the superior face lift. :)

You just put the key in the lock & turn it ........  ;) vertical = opens & closes with central locking, horizontal - always locked  ::) ::)

First thing I do is sort out a spare key, on any car.  Which reminds me, I need to order a new spare for the bike. Again.

Even Golden Nugget had a spare key sorted out for it, even though I only had it about 6 weeks ::)

hence the £190 for another Smart key, SWMBO can never find the same key twice!  ::) ::)

The way the Olympic Red Lights are set at the moment, I reckon I can now get into a FL Boot in that time.
