this is a vid of the first start on my civic a few mths ago.
It's a Honda 2.2 VTEC engine from a Prelude, with a few extras. Thats 210bhp, nigh on 190lb/ft...and a whole lot of yikes.
turn it up nice and loud ;)

2.2 in the VX220 produces the same, but cause its light bhp works.
2.2 in the Omega is tuned for torque, not bhp.

yeah so why does my 2.2 not sound like that lol oh yeah its in the subject :y

the 2.2 in the VX produces 145bhp and 150 torques.
With ITG maxogen induction kit and full milltek exhaust/manifold and remaps at each stage, it's 154bhp. I know this because we've got one in the garage, with RR printouts from, and work done by, Thorney Motorsports. It's a very quick car, as you might expect, but the civic will have no trouble keeping up in a straight line.
...naturally, GCSE Physics dictates that the VX corners sliiiightly better ;D

think you've nailed it there keven lol

that and the fact in the vid it's only running on 3 cylinders :-/
putting non-original engines into cars is not an easy task - its thrown up a fault code on the eml, but the paperclip test doesn't want to work so I've got to try and work it out :o
whatever it is is stopping the engine from running :'( :'(
