Hi,
If a used car is offered for sale with LPG fitted, what additional certificates/paperwork would the seller have to provide the buyer? It won't be a factory fitted system and the seller is a main dealer.
Would the V5 show anything different at all?
Thanks

Check the vehicle reg here: http://www.drivelpg.co.uk/
V5 should show fuel type as Bi-Fuel or Petrol/LPG (or similar)
Taxation class should be AFC/V (Alternative Fuel Car/Vehicle)
Ideally you want to see paperwork for the LPG stuff and seperate service records. Make sure you know what make it is and if it's Koltec/Necam then steer well clear!
What vehicle is it?

Reading that, if the 3.2 Omega was still made today (or after 2010) a years tax would be £1030, with no 6 months option.

Only for the first year Chris, then it would only be a mere £475 a year! ;)

It's all explained in the link I posted above...

Ford, make sure its got an electronic flash lube installed.
Edit: It is a fantastic engine as well.
-
Given that it's a Volvo designed engine and that they were offered as factory dual fuel not so many years back, I'd be surprised if it's as fragile as the Fords are reputed to be on LPG.
