If you have an off road vehicle running on LPG it can be a real pain getting fuelled up ( can't drive to the filling station!). The answer, it seems, is to use propane from bottles and transfer it to said vehicle with a pump.
These come as hand pumps and electrically operated pumps. Personally I would be a bit dubious about having a sparking electric motor next to where I am transferring liquid LPG --- maybe I am being over cautious.
Anyway -- has anybody any experience of filling their off roaders this way?

it it 100% running on LPG? (petrol injectors removed?) should be duel fuel, switch to petrol and drive to the filling station!

I'm sure it can be done but apparently it's hard work with a hand pump. You need to turn the LPG bottle upside down to draw liquid from it rather than vapour so make sure you've got a filter inline to remove all the crud from the bottom of the bottle.
Nothing wrong with an electric pump as long as there are no leaks. Use it in a well ventilated area just in case.

We use 10 LPG powered fork lift trucks at work, all running on re-fillable propane bottles.
The bottles have a vent valve on them which is opened when filling up.
The gas is stored in 2, 1000ltr tanks and is transferred with an electric pump.
The pump and switch installation have to be to an intrinsically safe standard.

Duel fuel --- was referring to a vehicle not licenced for road use -- so could not drive to petrol station.
To drive my Omega on propane would be very unpopular with Customs and Excise --- shame on you for even thinking about it :o
