I,ve just bought a 2002 3.2 MV6 engine and after stripping it found some minor wear marks on the cam lobes.
You can't feel them with your fingers, is this a problem?

Looks OK to me, but it's always hard to tell from a photo. It's usual for the tip of the lobe to have a polished appearance compared with elsewhere, and if you can't feel it....
What does the rest of the engine look like internally? Looks clean enough to me so guessing oil change history is reasonable at least. I'd be very surprised to find cam wear in that case.

Nearly every lobe looks like this :

Its almost like a triangle at the edge's thats worn the high polished silver away but you can't feel it.
