Has anybody added it up.

The cost of buying an omega, say 3.2 for argument sake, as it's likely to be most expensive to run. Total for a year, all costs, purchase price, tax, mot insurance, fuel, repairs parts. Everything.

Compared to the cost of buying a new car...? Say one of these tax exempt shitbox things, for the a year.

Who is better off...?

nope, pointless exercise for me. I wouldn't have a shitbox if it was the last car on earth. ;)
