Moto 2 on now.
Then the big boys. Some carnage in qualifying as Stoner(Ankle ligaments), Spies(landed flat on his back winded)and Hayden(out with concussion and bust bones in his hand) all high sided on turn 14. Rossi so nearly binned it there too.
Bit of a lack of grip apparently. :(
Anyway just a heads up. :y

Watching Moto 2 on Eurosport as I Type will watch MotoGP when they show it later.Full weekend next week with BSB[Cadwell Park],WSB[Moscow,1st time there]and MotoGP[Misano}
-
Will be recording it to watch later ... missed the qualifying , sounded like a banger race . Come on rossi you can do it on that heap of c#@p ::)
-
by all accounts stoner has a broken ankle painfull
-
I would normally go to work at around 6.45 and arrive around 7.15,by which time the race will probably be finished. Cant decide whether to watch the first five minutes, then scoot off to work early so I see the finish,or try to completely avoid it completely and watch the repeat at 11.40 tonight. :-\
Hoping Lorenzo wins, although Pedrosa might be on one of his good days when he is uncatchable from start to finish.Hard to tell what effect Stoners injury will have. Will find out when the race starts I suppose.
I think Rossi has lost what little interest he had left in riding the Ducati now that he has signed for Yamaha for next year.
It was suspected Stoner had a broken ankle, but its now reported he has torn a ligament but no fractures.

BBC1/Hd now
Suspect the fact Rossi stayed on showed he wasn't giving it 100%. After the near off, he went directly to the pits for a sit down, and who can blame him. ;D

I enjoyed the test match today. Very civilised even though England are a tad crap. ::)
-
Not the most exciting race I've ever seen, but they where moving around on that shite surface a fair bit.
-
Not seen it yet .. i bet it was a yam that finished 1st again ::)

That Honda is staggeringly quick in a straight line.Lorenzo worked hard to pass Pedrosa and Pedrosa just blasted away from him on the straight, like a litre bike passing a 600.God knows how it can have that much grunt and still comply with the fuel capacity regs.
Apparently Stoner has got fracture(s) off the ankle joint,so it must have been a tad uncomfortable on the bike.
Ive ridden with a broken foot, but it was a 5bhp moped, which Im guessing is just a bit easier than a 230 bhp missile. :D ;D
-
That indy track is to poor a surface, looks bloody dangerous
-
Its certainly not up to the standard of track they normally use,but it could be argued that the best riders in the world should be able to judge such things as surface changes and ride accordingly. If you look at places like the Isle of Man or the Irish road races they have to deal with that type of thing all the time. :-\
-
The surface appeared to be focal point of the event IMO. Which is a shame.
But I guess what it lacked as a race was made up for by watching them scrabble around over those bumps, ESP in turn 1, was it, coming off the banking. Lordy.... Smaller classes even more so.
-
looked like brown trousers time to me !
i think the bumps looked evil.
