Title: Is this right?! Picture...
Post by: PeddyP on 21 August 2012, 14:48:24
Hi guys. Just wondering if I've got this right as my hose had perished away plus I'm not 100%...

There's the 2 vac lines that go down to the box with big n small hoses and the T-Piece is going into the DooDaa on the bagpipes. Then I've got the the white vac line looping round the wotsit and back into the thingamajig...

Thanks in advance, Pedro  :y

Just feels like the cars down on power... Engine is running sweet, all the noise is there when you hit the power pedal but it dies down a bit mid-range on the revs. Low end torque seems to have picked up though, could the timing be slightly out?!

Doesn't mean it's working though. Blip the throttle violently and watch the valves move... Or not. Tother is back of plenum, right side. Check all the vac pipes are connected, no hissing.

Timing is also possible. As is blocked exhaust.

Blocked exhaust as in full of water still?! Very possible as when the head went the water was pouring out like a waterfall! Plus the exhaust is still steaming up when it gets hot...

Vac pipes are all on and checked for leaks.
