Anybody had any experience of using biodiesel?
-
I have used it in my 306 (before it died). I had no problems with it, but it depends on what fuel pump you have. Apparently, Lucas pumps die rather quickly because the biodiesel is slightly thicker. I don't know if the "Lucas" problem isuniversal, or just on the Peugeot engine though.

It seems one of our local garages is too sell a biodiesel from United Petroleum which is a 50/50 mix with ordinary low sulphur diesel and so wouldn't be a 100% biodiesel anyway.....
But what info I had seen had suggested a low ratio of maybe 25/75 but I can't remember if that was just for home produced or commercial???
Cheers
