Title: how to test eggs for freshness

when you go to the market ?  ;) 
 
as there will be no water , no cup ;D 
 
 
simple..
 
take the egg and shake near your ear.. if it makes an audible noise its not fresh .. 
 
fresh eggs will be silent :y

(might even go for the Mr Bean expression when shaking the egg)

 ;D  its a proven method as the egg degrades it will contract and leave space to move :y

Our neighbour gives us "still warm"  duck eggs. :y

 i find out if the eggs are fresh a month later when i get the call "you going to be a dad"

He was pretty quick letting go of that punch,for such a big lump. ;D

Another method is to throw them at a wall, and if they stick......Oh, hang on....no my mistake, that's a test for something else !   ::)

after testing many eggs in markets , I realized only 1 quarter of them are fresh generally :(
