I've recently dug up a concrete floor but luckily I didn't find anything like this!!  ::)

Well, water you know, Historians are looking into it. Hopefully they will draw there own conclusions to how deep they should dig into its past. Lets hope the weather doesnt bucket down and the owner end up with hes very own swimming pool in the living room. ::)

I think thats cool, would love a feature like that in my house. Think I would have the glass panel over it so it was allways visible.
Once had a holiday in french lock keepers cottage, and allthough it was like 20 feet from the canal it had a well in the middle of the sitting room.

I think I'd be tempted to cover it with a huge bass driver and use the well as an enclosure for it.  ;D

He needs to come to west cornwall to live,no wells under the floors here just bloody great mineshafts instead ::) ;D

That's why us Northern Grockles fall apart as we get older, & you lot in the Deep Sarf are so well preserved! ;D ;)
