In what way are they different James? I see the top white part can be swapped over (or at least it slides out) on the driver's side.
Is the plug different?

The central locking still works without the motor, but obviously you need to use the key to actually lock the driver's door.

The white part that connects to the mechanism is different, as is the part number.  IIRC the front ones contain 2 micro switches as opposed to 1 in the rears.  I think this is to activate the deadlock system.  :y

There is two micro switches in the one on the driver's side (don't know about the pass side). I guess it will have to be a driver's side that replaces it then. Unless someone knows other wise.

N/S & O/S fronts are the same through MFL to F/L

Thank you for the offer. I'm good with a welder, but soldering is not my forte :-[
