Title: seat switch
Post by: Bob G on 04 September 2012, 08:59:38
What I actually need is the drivers side switch that control forward/back on the seat, it is the vertical switch, all I am after is the actual bit of plastic that fits the switch, light grey would be good but any will do.

From what I've seen happen on my car... the square plastic retainer thing on the switch itself brakes up and that's why the outer piece falls off.  Fortunately, it is possible to replace this one part but you have to open up the switch module - IIRC, it comes off with the seat side trim, there's a screw at the front then unclips horizontally from front to back and lastly unhooks at rear edge, think it's obvious from there but you do need to carefully prise off the other switch levers before unbolting the switch module from the trim panel.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that but cannot find a spare at all, it seem VX only do it as a whole circuit board £292
