Title: Double Din Replacement
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 06 September 2012, 22:28:01
I have a ???2005 in the car with the single CD slot, was toying with the idea of upgrading to the 2005 with the cassette and autochanger in it, but also am considering a unit with built in sav nav etc

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VCMMI-IN-CAR-DVD-GPS-SAT-NAV-MP3-BLUETOOTH-VAUXHALL-VECTRA-SIGNUM-OMEGA-MERIVA-/221085944711?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3379bfcb87  saw this on the bay, just wondererd if any body has one and if they are any good, or is it wiser going for a branded one, if so, any recondations ?

if your willing to spend that sort of money then why not keep it original and stick a ncdc2013 in there? Think (brikhead) has one up for sale!!  :y

Random brand, Dave DND is your man, think he will say like other double dins of random make they are shite.

Its worth saving up for an Alpine or similar as they maybe twice the price, but they are far superior  :y

I'd certainly be interested in whether it does genuinely work with the CID as claimed, especially if it still has all the check control gubbins ::)
