Evening I was hoping somebody might be able to help. A friend has a 05 plate fiat croma multijet 1.9 diesel. Anyway it has a oil can flashing red on the dash and a warning saying oil change needed. We have done the oil change and reset the light and message with a codereader but as soon as you turn the engine back on it all comes back up. Somebody has told my mate that we could use the buttons on the dash to reset it but I cant find anything about which buttons to use. Any ideas please.

Vectra C/Signum, which are related :-\, process is:
1. Ignition off, key in, press and hold trip reset.
2. Wait until display changes while holding trip reset.
3. Keep holding trip reset and turn ingnition on.
4. Count to 5, display should then reset, release trip reset once display changed.
Shouldn't show service indicator for 10k or so :y
Much more eloquently described by Mr Haynes ::)
Hopefully Henry will be able to confirm/deny :y
