Title: idle control valve icv 3L V6

hello all
i have a spare icv which i have cleaned with carb cleaner,
 my question do i test it by putting a feed to the terminals? if yes what should happen?

Test by driving and see if it stalls. Lite lube the icv first though. 3in1 oil? ;)

By energising the motor with 12v should very quickly open the air flow through it.

just put 12v to it and nothing happened, should i take it as being knackered?
