When Steve Martin goes to get his hire car and it isn't there, gets to the desk and the woman is on the phone......  ;D ;D
I Think John Candy was a class act though..... The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Cool Runnings :y

Cool runnings was not really one of his greatest imho.

Great outdoors, great. (Bald-ass bear, and the racoons)
Uncle Buck "he microwaved my socks because he couldn't get the god damn washing machine to work" "Blasphemer"!

He was also hilarious as the detective in one of the greatest films ever.

The Blues Brothers

I like Black Comedy and one of my all time favourites is U Turn.

It has got Billy Bob Thornton in it as a garage owner/mechanic.

Highly recommended.

Yes indeed one of the best comedy films ever with the, sadly, late John Candy and Steve Martin at their prime!  That lorry scene was hillarious, and with a big American car believable in terms of survivability,  Would an Omega survive so well?  ;D ;D ;D   Lizzie  Zoom  :D
