Good days work :).

If you can get black to shine, and hide the swirls, it always looks good :y. Briefly, though, sadly, as they show the dirt so quickly :'(.
As for the subject matter in this specific case, "not to my taste" is the understatement of the year ;D

My plan for today was to at least wash my Omega & polish it if my fubar'd back allowed. Unfortunately, it p'd it down all day today ................. :( :(

Swirls are most defiantly the most irritating thing, and need a hell of a lot of correcting when they're visible which takes more time than I can spare, and something to do with the fact I haven't really for the patience ;D.
I thought you'd love it? ;D ;D :y.

Still, Watchdog tonight suggests that lots of Beemers are being stolen using a magic key coding device for sale on eGay for 6K :y :y :y

Well done Del - that looks the part. :y 8)

Do many E60 LCI 530D's pass through your hands Del?

M Sport.
Just putting feelers out at the moment, Ideally looking to replace in about 18 Months

With Omega you need to know the security code to pair a key, how are they doing it with BuMW's?
Seen it done in under 2 mins, somehow, without old key or a code :-\

Two minutes is with an ameteur, try 10-20 seconds.
You plug into the OBD2 socket and the device cracks the security code, then code a remote key and away you go.
No mechanical steering lock, no mechanical key....both of which can be defeated but take considerably longer, cause damage and risk making the car un-driveable in the process.

Ahhh so thats how they do it. So they still need to brake a window to get it in? Assuming the OBD2 socket is under the steering column or similar?
I think we should "export BMW's" to Cem ;D
