i bought 1 of these when i was 18,paid £125 for it,should of kept it,but wife made me sell it for a stairs carpet :-[

Sorry but I hate the colour!  Hope your wife didn't choose a carpet of this colour!  ;D ;D ;D

Not a fan of the mk1 cav personally, much prefered the mk2.
That colour is terrible aswell, but on the plus side it is bloody low mileage considering the age of it.

my old dad had 4 of them one after another,he loved them,although after a succession of viva,s i suppose they were a step up.cant say they did much for me tbh.

i had one of them sold it just last year,had big ideas for it,red top etc,but time an money were tight so had to go.

I had a mk1 cav  1.6 back in 1987, it was a heap of junk >:( oh & a horrible yellow colour too

I had a white saloon with awful red interior MANY years ago. Think it was a p or r reg 1600 GL. Not a bad old bus but never really loved it, just a car. :-/

Very nice....  remember seeing one once at JCB when I did some work there...  darker green, it was Sir Anthony Bamfords... and, an ex-James Bond film car too....
