Title: You know the 15 second batt. terminal removal...

...thingy on an omega (where you have to disconnect it within 15 secs of the engine being switched off). well is that the same with other makes roughly? i have got to clean the wife's ford focus terminals as she's having batt. trouble and her connections look terrible.

All that does is stop the powersounder on the alarm system from sounding. I've not seen a Ford with that feature...

All that does is stop the powersounder on the alarm system from sounding. I've not seen a Ford with that feature...

I've often thought it may be an idea to start a new section on this Forum, somthing along the lines of "Other vehicle makes, general help" seems there won't be many Omegas left to own soon...
