Title: WTD CCR 2006 Cage

I am considering upgrading my 2005 unit to a CCR 2006 but from what has been explained to me it seems I require a cage to suit the CCR 2006 to upgrade from the 2005.

Both units actually use the same cage.  The only difference is there are 2 'tangs' that are bent inwards to support the underside of the 2005's single din setup.  It is possible to very carefully straighten out these tangs in order to allow the 2006's double din setup slide into the cage...  :y

Yes James is correct. I upgraded from a 2005 to a 2006 in my CD spec diesel with no problems :y

I should be abe to take a picture of a 2006 cage but it seems the stereo I sold on here which subsequently came back as 'faulty' was reurned without it's cage...
