Title: Newbie Omega Owner
Post by: Craig32 on 20 September 2012, 22:11:08
Hi Everyone,

Just purchased a 2.2 CDX (Petrol) today. Very pleased with it. Just two niggles the EML light is on (not the one with the spanner) and a knock from the n/s/f. Could the knock be the droplink? Had a GSi for 7 years and not that familiar with the front suspension setup at the moment. Any advice would be great.

Ola! Welcome to the forum :y

Have a look at some of the maintenance guides. They cover most of the problems ever encountered on the Omega.

If you can't find the answer to your problem , then it is better to post a question in the General help, electrical help and so on. More folk look in those sections. One other tip is to show manual or auto and year of your car in your profile.

Welcome to the forum.

For the management light you need to read the codes. For the suspension noise you need to give it a good check over, Omegas are a bit heavy on wishbone bushes

How do & welcome along :y :y

Not too far away from me :)
The knock could well be a drop link :y For how much they cost & for how easy they're to change ;)
