Sadly the Disco 1 does suffer from body rot, best to get a few quotes and if possible view some work they have already done to check how good they are :y

Sorry we can't help just a tad to far.

You can get the repair panels for 80 notes thats for both sides included. Hubby did ours over two days it's not an easy job and if the b post has started to go the doors need to come off.

Some people get angle box Iron and remove the old sil and weld in the box full length.

80x50 box section is cheaper and easier to weld to,

ask on a landrover forum, someone will be local and willing to help.

Already been on Landy zone and been  met with sarcasm and a lot of ignorance towards a newbie on the land rover scene... That's why I'm asking the same question on here because I know I'll be told the truth and not taken the piss out of with sarcasm... I'm already upset that I've bought a scrap heap out of the insurance payout I had for the veccy...  :-[ :-[

That's the difference between Landyzone and this forum. I use Landyzone quite a bit-there are some really helpfull people on there-but there are also a lot people who enjoy taking the **** out of everybody even if they have no input into the discussion. I find some of the replies to a straightforward question really patronising or downright rude. Omega Owners Forum very, very different!!!!!!
 Try

Another unimpressed landyzone member here too!

I have one of these I'm obliged to do for a mate, in all honesty he should scrap it for the amount of work it's going to be... but then I've got various projects of my own that should've been scrapped years ago too, so just call me Mr Pot Kettle Black.

Bertie this is exactly what I done with mine 80x40 box section(will last longer than the disco ;D) I found it easier just removing both doors makes life easier if you only stayed up here (scotland) I could of helped.
I also found the landy zone full of stuck up snobs :( :( and treat newbies as total thickos at least senior oof members are always willing to help greenhorns :y
