Based on your recent 12 miles ish consumption. So can vary ;)

Easily get 200 miles from £20, in 2.2 that is :)

Actually,Tunnies 2.2 is LPG,d so presumably thats what hes hinting at. Even so, it still seems a tad high to me,but he is famous for driving like my great grandma. :)

I would need about £30 for those miles  :(
Hoping that changing the stat and fixing the cam gaskets may help  ::)

On LPG :)

Tanked up few days ago, £38 @ 67.9P litre. Aiming for 400 miles on it, more like 350 I think though as I had a bike on the roof!

Range is quite a simple calc...

Average MPG over past few miles (15km sounds familar, certainly in that ballpark) x gallons left in tank.

So, on a 70mph cruise up the motorway, a 3.0l can easily hit mid 30s mpg as an average, so the range (if tank is filled at this point) can be 450+. Pull off and into a town, esp with an auto, and the MPG can easily drop to 15mpg (purely urban), so range will quickly drop to under 250m (although not many of us do 9 miles purely urban, theres always a point where you can cruise, and get average MPG up above 20mpg.

Pull back onto motorway, and stick it at 70, range will start to dramatically increase again.
