Well took my miggy in for it's MOT today and all it failed on was the two rear tyres being to worn on the inside edges!!
Well pleased 8-)
Two new tyres for £125 all in fitted....now just a trip upto Mr Folkes at Ibstock for a professional 4 wheel track up now!
Another year on the road for one of the best cars ever built by Vauxhall 8-)

Had 2 of those before the miggy.....top motor i may add, but the miggy handles far better....just not as quick off the mark.....

I don't agree. :-?
The biggest single improvement is in the later HID lighting dept but I think the Senator excelled in just about every other way, paint work for example is appalling on the Omega (perferation warrantys are only as good as the first owner & as a lot would be company cars the 'owner' probably just drove it) ......... & I liked my 'comfort' setting on the dampers too! ;)

I drive 2 Omegas every day and drove a Senator 2700 miles around europe (mountain passes, autobahns etc).....it was louder, light at the back (and the suspension did work) and certainly would struggle against my estate off the Mark (it was a 3.0 24V)
It realy was quite surprising how different they are...

I have to agree with Mark.
I love the Senator (and was with Mark on the trip) but the Omega is a better car in numerous ways.
However, the Senator just has a certain "something" about it, a character that I am afraid has been missing in the Omegas. :-/
Good news on the MOT Boss.
Oh and please give more info on this 4 wheel alignment place in Ibstock. :)

... because Vauxhall in effect didn't replace the Senator. The Omega was a one size fits all for both Carlton & Senator.
