I've looked at those before and wondered just how effective they are - have you tried? Good results?

A mates Audi had it bad. Those cans only work for a week or 2, then it slowly returns.

He sold the car in the end  :-X

Is there anything longer lasting then?

Regular sprays with anything?

I used the Comma Air Con Cleaner stuff, thought id give it a try as it was on offer when i visited Trago mills a while back, used it as directed and it lasted quite a while, but then the smell started coming back, but not half as bad before  :y

My local Vx dealer, WJ King did an aircon recharge, pollen filter change and an aircon debug. Got rid of the musty smell and a month later it is still smelling nice and fresh. All for £45 inc vat.
