Title: Funny sound on start up
Post by: RN55ONE on 24 September 2012, 11:39:11
Recently I've been getting a funny sound (sounds like a CD loading from a the CD Cassette into a player) coming from the centre console when I turn the Key to position 1 (1 before ignition).
It lasts around 30 seconds then goes away.
The current head unit I have does not have a CD player - it's a USB only head unit so doesn't have any moving parts.

I changed the HBV about 6 weeks ago - could this sound be something to do with that?
I first thought it may have something to do with the climate control, but it makes the sound even if the climate control is off.

Any ideas?

could be the climate flaps cycling to a known position, try a climate reset and see if that helps i am sure there is a how to in the maint section.
