I'm going to be taking the plenum off soon so thought that I'd clean the throttles whilst I was in there.
I was thinking of removing the throttle body from the plenum when it was removed and then brushing Nitromors onto each side. Any comments and how long should be left to soak before cleaning it off?
Is there any point at all in cleaning the inside of the plenum - I guess it's only going to get dirty again so cant see much point?

Clean it with carb cleaner, nitromors could take the surface layer off the butterflies, Soak in petrol for a while then scrub with an old toothbrush and carb cleaner.

As above ^^^^ Nitromors no - just use plenty of carb cleaner :y

worth running carb cleaner through plenum, its amazing what
crap rubbish comes out especially if not been done for a while :y

How often is it advised to clean the throttle body, annually??

i do mine when i clean the breathers. :y

i too do it on every breather clean. May as well as you have it off the car. Toothbrush and carb cleaner. Do be careful of it spraying and hitting something that will create a back splash. You dont want this Shit in your eye. I can tell you from experience that its horrible. Wear goggles gloves and apron. I do anyway lol
