Title: engine light

engine light comes on for a second and the goes off while driving check for fault codes nothing comes up
would running low on fuel could cause this by sucking up dirt from the tank
it has been doing this for a few days (2.5 v6}petrol
can anybody help thanks

If the engine light comes on when driving, there is a fault, and it should store it.
