Title: why me all the time

went down to garage this evening,to get tools sorted to do webbys car 2moro,found my planer and large angle grinder on the floor,and a 110v bosch drill taken along with trolley jack,and door was forced open,been trying to report the theft to police for past hour,ive never had any problems here for the 3yrs ive lived here and now this happens >:(

Worth keeping an eye on your local Cash Converters (online) as well as Gumtree and the Bay for a while Martin, you never know!

I have a real hate for thieves, went through a few years where we kept having things stolen, we had a motorbike stolen, petrol strimmer, and numerous tools and the police don't seem to be interested no matter what the value of the stolen goods is and the only way for you to get them back is track them down yourselves.

I think they were checking out the garage aswell,seeing what they,can get next time,oh dear shame it now has locking bolts fitted so can't get in without making a noise,I also had a wander down to cash converters,but nothing there.

Is it worth claiming on your home insurance,when my garage was robbed I claimed for LOTS,the insurance paid up no hassle.
It was like xmas in my house as tools etc was delivered during the next few weeks,But later on I still missed out a few things that I had hadn't claimed for.
The main thing that was nicked was my boys Jet ski,The police recovered a lot of my stuff,(Known druggie) within a few days,lucky I was honest.
