Title: Spark Plugs etc advice needed

Hi Everyone,

Could do with some advice. I have a Omega 2.2 Petrol Auto Y reg (Y22XE Engine). What spark plugs would anyone recommend and does the 2.2 have HT Leads or a the cassette type coil plugs? Whats the best oil to use? Has a slight miss on start up so a full service is on the cards only had it a week but very pleased with her so far!!! Any advice gratefully received.

GM's own twins, esp if you have access to Tradeclub. Not point putting any other tosh in, unless you can get dirt cheap.

No leads on a 2.2, the coil pack clips onto all for plugs

GM spark plugs ...... on Trade Club, as cheap as anywhere.
2.2 has a coil pack ie no HT leads

Sorry, missed the oil bit. GM Semi 10/40 if you have access to tradeclub. Tradeclub costs £25 per year, worth every penny.

I'd also recommend 3k oil changes - with Tradeclub parts, its about £12 to do oil and filter.

Yep, Autobahnstormers for your TC card.  :y As mentioned somewhere else you get your money back on your first ''4 for price of 3'' oil purchase!  :y

Simples - just join either ABS (www.autobahnstormers.org) or VODC (www.vodc.co.uk).
