Yep

and if I then roll the car back and forward and then up some ramps I can do the front one loaded can't I ?????
-
Yep. Although the bumper will foul the ramps.
Jack up and place cramps under...? Bounce the suspension on the front and the ramps should slide to allow the suspension to settle.

I use a couple of short (3') lengths of scaffold board to allow me to drive up on to the ramps without fouling the bumper.

if you tightened the bolts wheels hanging/off the floor, yes undo the front bolts and tighten wheels loaded.
But have you driven the car back and forth to allow the wheels to settle to the right track...?
Or is the drop link the wrong one/too long?
