Hi all am new to this so bear with me, am trying to get my car sorted today as its been running like its missing get fault code 0560 have a mechanic coming out today to look at it any suggestions, flashing emission light, turn car off and back on fine for another 50 mile, I am confused. Seems like its miss firing but as I said turn it off and on again and it's fine my battery seems fine so any suggestions

0560 - System voltage high / low.
Check the voltage across the battery when the engine is running at a fast idle. It could be that the voltage is getting too high (over 14.5 - 15V, say). Could also be a poor wiring connection that is causing voltage drop and a low supply voltage to the ECU.

Do you mean a poor connection to battery? And what would cause a high voltage ? Am having it looked at later, but don't want to be fobbed off with getting things done that maybe won't need changing. Fore warned is fore armed

Faulty regulator in the alternator will cause a high voltage.
Faulty connection might cause a low voltage.
A decent code reader / Tech 2 would probably tell you which code it actually stored (high / low). You can also look at the live data from the engine ECU and see what the voltage is reading there, as that will be what triggered the warning.
